Who got the biggest Piece of the Pie this week?

Slicing the PIES of Life:  

Last week’s blog asked you to look at the parts of your life as if they were slices of

A PIE.  Notice how you are taking care of  your different areas of need: Physical, Mental, Emotional, Social- Relational and Spiritual. The quality of your life is based on recognizing and attending to all  your human needs in balance. Are you eating good food in moderate quantities 3-6 times a day?  Are you moving and strengthening you body with activity?  Do you allow time for Fun, family, friends and rest?


Once you identified an area of your life that is not getting what it needs, would you be willing to choose one action this week to take care of that need? That action might be:

I will spend 15 minutes of quality time with someone I love each day: I will allow time to eat breakfast. I will have 10 minutes a day to sit quietly, to read or reflect on my life and connect with God.  Loving yourself and caring for yourself is your best gift to all. Today is a good day to start. What are Integrative Stress Solutions?

The dictionary defines Integrate as: To make a whole by bringing all the parts together, unify.

 Integration: the organization of organic, psychological, or social traits and tendencies of a personality into a harmonious whole  


Christine Anne’s work is about the unity of the body systems and life. It is based on recognizing and attending to all the parts of our human needs that make up our whole being. WE do this by attending to our basic human needs. A simple way to look at these needs is as a PIE with slices.


Think of a warm fragrant Juicy cherry pie. Each slice with cherries and crust is one of the needs. The juice that baths and moves between all the cherries is energy.  The word Pies is our guide to remember these areas of slices of our life.  P is for physical, I for intellectual, E for emotional & energetic, S for social and spiritual (PIES).


As you look at your pie, your job is to slice the pieces into sizes appropriate to the needs of the day. Every day invites a new opportunity to slice your PIES of Life. How well are you attending to each of your Life slices?   To be continued next week.

Eat Food Alive to Thrive: Eating for a Strong Immune System

Winter power foods are citris fruits like oranges, grapefruit, tangerines; frozen blueberries, carrots cooked and raw, yogurt, leafy green vegtables, the darker the green the more nutritious, warm hearty soups, complex carbohydrates like whole grains, brown rice, oatmeal, Lean protein. Remember you do need healthy fats every day with your foods. Use olive oil, add flax oil to salad or veggies or oatmeal. In winter the fat helps give us energy to stay warm.
